Take part in the physical activity campaign in September

The Estonian Academic Sports Federation and the Estonian Federation for Company Sports invite the staff and students of Estonian universities to participate in the physical activity campaign “Pane kondimootor tööle”. This year, the aim is to walk at least 7,000 steps every day.

The 2023 campaign focuses on promoting different forms of physical activity. In the course of the campaign, people who have been hesitant to try a more active way of getting to work, school or shopping than by car for a month get some good ideas on how to be active every day. The aim is not to find the winners or the best walkers but to encourage people to go walking, cycling, roller-skating, running, etc.

The campaign takes place on the YuMuuv platform. To participate,

  1. sign up in the YuMuuv environment;
  2. download the YuMuuv app;
  3. use the code LIIKUMISAASTA (all caps) to register.

If you want to participate in the campaign in the University of Tartu team, select “University of Tartu” from the drop-down menu when creating a profile.

All who reach the daily target of at least 7,000 steps on 25 days out of 30 are entered in a prize draw. In addition, Ylisport souvenirs and tickets are raffled off among students who meet the target.

Read how to create a profile in YuMuuv and enter the sign-up code in the user manual.

Participation is free. The campaign is run by the Estonian Federation for Company Sports in cooperation with the Estonian Academic Sports Federation, with the help of the Competence Centre for Physical Activity Foundation.
